As the owner of the Tremont family of outdoor resorts, I’d like to personally welcome you and let you know that your patronage is deeply appreciated.  If you’ve stayed with us before, you’ll probably notice a number of changes and improvements which are meant to make your stay even more enjoyable and carefree.  I’m truly blessed to be entrusted with the care of such special pieces of our natural world, and very pleased to share them with my guests.

For over fifty years, I’ve had a love for the great outdoors.  I’ve been an outdoor guide, professional nature photographer, and an outdoor resort operator for over 25 years, making a living in harmony with nature.  I’ve also been fortunate enough to vacation and camp all over this beautiful continent, and try to put the knowledge and experience from these ramblings to good use in the resorts.  It is my goal to offer a quality outdoor experience to every guest and to provide a truly back to nature experience with as many creature comforts as possible.  I sincerely hope that your stay with us will be among some of your most cherished memories.

As you can imagine, it’s challenging to prevent the natural environment of the resorts from being tarnished by the presence of too many modern conveniences.  We strive to provide you with top-notch accommodations in a pristine mountain setting.  We’d like each of our guests to have an experience much like that of the first visitors to the area.  To help make this possible, we ask that you follow a few simple rules while staying here with us.

First off, not all sites have enough space for more than one vehicle; plus, multiple vehicles take away from the natural beauty of the landscape.  If you have additional vehicles or guests, please make arrangements with office personnel to park them elsewhere on the property.

Please refrain from placing mats and/or rugs on any grassy area.  It kills the grass and leaves unsightly spots, which take away from the natural beauty.

Also, please be a responsible pet owner.  Be sure to keep pets leashed and quiet at all times.  If you leave them behind while you explore the surrounding area, they must be left inside.  Your fellow campers, as well as our staff, will greatly appreciate your consideration.

We love to watch families pass quality time together.  Please keep all language “family friendly” and voices at a level easily tolerable by your neighbors.  Let’s face it; it’s hard to hear the call of nature if there’s too much man made noise!…  Please remember that all guests must leave the resort by 10 p.m., and quiet hours are from 10 p.m. - 8 a.m.  For a look at our rules click on the link at the bottom of this page.

Again, welcome to our enchanted part of the world, mystically concealed beneath the blue haze, beckoning you to discover its natural beauty.  Thank you for allowing the Tremont family of outdoor resorts to serve as your base camp during your adventure here in the Great Smoky Mountains.  Please have a safe and memorable stay.  We look forward to your next visit.
